Giuseppe Piscitelli

Giuseppe “Pizzy” Piscitelli is a Veneto-based drummer who has been playing since 1999, building his experience through live performances, studio work and collaborations with a variety of musical projects.

Before turning to the drums, he studied trumpet and saxophone. He later pursued his passion for drumming under the guidance of Paolo Prizzon and Moreno Marchesini, developing a versatile approach while maintaining a strong rock identity. His playing combines rhythmic precision, energy and a personal touch adapted to the character of each project.

His musical background spans rock and roll, blues rock, pop rock and funk, together with rock repertoire from the 1960s through to the 1990s. Over the years, he has worked with several local bands, contributing not only as a drummer but also to the organisation and development of their live performances.

His projects include ON THE ROCK, a band whose repertoire ranges from classic 1970s rock to more contemporary sounds, with both acoustic and energetic live sets, and Waffle Shuffle, a power trio that reinterprets rock and roll and punk songs through an energetic rockabilly style.

Alongside his live activity, Giuseppe has also offered individual drum lessons, combining technical guidance with practical advice drawn from his experience on stage. Whether performing in a small venue or at a larger live event, he brings reliability, musical awareness and a genuine passion for the drums to every project.
